Kites, Kites, Kites!!!

Kites have finally arrived at Castle Toys. There are Junior Diamonds, at $12.99, for the youngest children, ages 3 and 4 and up. And for teens, ask for  the Cracker, at $29.99. There are others in between, including one called Pirate Breezy, a black kite with a white skull and crossbones. Each kite comes with 1oo feet of string.

New Ravensburger

Since the beginning of the year many, many, many people have been asking when new Ravensburger will arrive. So this year Castle Toys is participating in a new Ravensburger programme. Hundreds of new puzzles and games have already arrived at our store. On Wednesday, April 13, the Calgary Herald will distribute, via home subscription, flyers showing Ravensburger puzzles and games. Some are old and some are new but regardless Ravensburger is in a class by itself. The pieces are precisely cut and the pictures are in rich, beautiful colour. It is imortant to note that the prices have dropped drastically and most all 1000 pc puzzles are now under $20.00 each.

Special Note. Last year there was no new puzzle incorperating a picture by Pauline Paquin, an artist so popular here in the Calgary area. There willl be, however, a new 2011 picture/puzzle titled Baseball Game.  This is not yet in the store.

 

 

 Regarding Ravensburger games, we have always noticed and have told people that these games  do more than the instructions indicate. So as your child becomes older, the games generally expand to enhance and teach more skills.
